Victory Youth. My name is Dustin and I’m the Youth Pastor here at Victory Church... Did you know that, according to statistics taken by people much more intelligent than me, over 70% of people make a decision to follow Christ between the ages of 4-14? Did you also know that, once again, according to those intelligent people, over 60% of teens, who were active participants in their church, no longer go to church after graduating high school? I know those numbers may seem shocking, but after being a pastor for some time now, I can attest to their validity. Here at Victory Church we realize the true battlefield that youth ministry is and we approach youth ministry accordingly. Our program is very different than your typical “youth group” but, as statistics would prove, the typical “youth group” just isn’t cutting it. So, we have set out to create a program where teens can build Christ centered friendships, find their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and have an absolutely ridiculous amount of fun while doing so. We have family dinner together as a group, learn about Jesus, and participate in a fun and uplifting activity on a weekly basis... Our one and only goal is this; lead your kids and our kids to Jesus. While we know that your teens will love our program, get attached to our team of loving volunteers, make great Christ-based friendships, and have a ton of fun, none of that is our true purpose and goal. All of those things are great, but without Jesus, our kids truly have nothing... I’m not sure why you’re reading this today, but I could probably guess that it has something to do with either find a church home for you and your family or decided wether or not Victory Church truly is that home. To be honest with you, that’s going to be really difficult to find out from a web page.
